We’re heading toward the next eclipse on March 3, 2026, around 6:38 AM EST in the Virgo/Pisces axis.
This eclipse highlights the tension between staying grounded in what’s real and chasing our bigger dreams and aspirations.
Since the Sun and Moon are in opposition, we feel uneasy unless we have solid facts and know exactly what’s going on. At the same time, we sense that our life’s purpose should be something more. It’s tough to blend these two sides. For many of us, this shows up as needing the security of our current job while feeling deep down that we should be doing something more—something creative, inspiring, and truly fulfilling that brings real happiness. With the North Node in Pisces, we might see our true purpose as too unrealistic, or out of reach. This tension will play out in the part of your life ruled by Virgo and Pisces in your natal chart.
Virgo’s ruler (Mercury) is in Pisces right now, so we struggle to get the clear details and concrete facts we need for work, daily tasks, or routines. Venus in Pisces makes our values, relationships, and connections feel dreamy or unattainable. For people building or aligning their businesses, creative artwork, media, and graphics will be a key way to attract and connect with others.
All these Pisces placements are flowing into Aries energy, creating a lot of confusion around new beginnings and what we want to start. We might feel blocked from actually launching the things we aspire to. The Neptune-Saturn conjunction in Aries adds to this: we can lose inspiration for our purpose and end up holding ourselves back from even trying.
Chiron is direct in Aries too, which points to many of us struggling to pursue what makes us happy because we don’t believe we’re capable or “good enough” to do it.
Mars in the fusion cusp area from Aquarius to Pisces will square Uranus and Pluto trines Uranus, we might see people suddenly quitting out of the blue because they cannot keep doing what they are doing. They might feel boxed in and struggle with keeping up financially because money is tight.
With Lilith ruling Jupiter retrograde in Cancer (which sextiles the Moon in Virgo), part of us feels like our beliefs and opinions get rejected by society so we might burn some bridges if we are not mindful. This makes us question what we learned from family, our conditioning, and what makes us feel emotionally safe. Instead of letting ourselves feel our emotions, we end up picking them apart and analyzing every piece. Since the Sun is trine Jupiter retrograde, our sense of joy and purpose gets pulled into this questioning process as well.
So how can we work with these energies in the best way?
Our inner struggles are real and valid, but we need to find a way to accept ourselves as we are and just start something—even when there’s no clear plan, details, or solid facts. This means becoming our own source of inspiration to get moving, even if we have no idea where it will lead. Take a leap, shoot in the dark, and begin. You’ll end up where you’re meant to be, and along the way you might just pivot or find what you are looking for. If you stay stuck waiting for perfect details or for everything to “feel right” first, you will block the flow.
Mars is at the fusion cusp area of 0° Pisces squaring Uranus, whatever actions we take now can include networking with creativity. We might want to bring in friends or a team to brainstorm fresh, creative ideas with a unique twist.
The Virgo/Pisces is not about staying on either side of the extremes. If we stay too focused on the details and keep doing the same things, we won’t be able to feel inspired. We also cannot get too lost in what’s not even real. The key is not simply balancing the two, but knowing that what inspires us has to be rooted in reality.
